“Conflict minerals” refer to minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, and cobalt, which are sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries. The sale of these minerals may provide financial support to ongoing armed conflicts in these regions. QFPCB and its subsidiaries take this issue seriously and have implemented actions to address it. We do not procure conflict minerals originating from conflict zones. We require suppliers to refrain from using conflict minerals sourced from these regions and to provide written commitments. We also require our suppliers to pass this requirement on to their upstream suppliers. Together with our customers and suppliers, we seek sustainable solutions to address the conflict minerals issue.
